Self-employment and Social Entrepreneurship for Youth

About the project

Social innovation leads to new or improved capabilities and better use of assets and resources. This project is focused on building and strengthening the skills and competencies of young people in the cross-border area for socially innovative practices and participation in the digital economy sector. With the project are established hackerspaces in the targeted area.

Young people in the cross-border area are informed and encouraged to use social innovations and technology as their perspective of employment. They are also provided with different trainings and personal assistance for increasing competences and skills needed for developing their own business solutions. This project supports young people to exchange ideas and start business cooperation with the other young people from the targeted area. In that way, it contributes to better youth social entrepreneurship in Municipalities Pec, Istog, Decane, Podgorica, Rozaje and Berane. In short, this project helps improve self-employment and the access to the labour market for young people.
